Vintage French 18ct gold signet ring

If like us you are also a fan of these gorgeous French signet rings, you'll know how incredibly difficult they have become to find. 

This piece is made from solid, heavy, buttery 18ct yellow gold and stamped with 750 and the French eagle head to confirm the purity. A deeply engraved cartouche-shaped shield displays an eagle, wings spread, on a red background (vertical lines indicate the colour red). Above this is an engraved crown which shows an impressive level of detail. 

We suspect this signet was once made bigger and so it's a generous size but can equally be made smaller too. In really lovely condition with great patina!
