Vintage/antique base metal ship signet ring

It doesn't always have to be made from precious metal to be precious...

Made from a non-gold base metal, this beautiful old ring has tons of character. It's solid with a beautifully hand etched motif of a ship at sea. The shoulders have a rough, textured finish and stamped inside is the word 'Australia'. It's a gold tone, quite similar to 9ct yellow gold, and given that this ring has some good age, it's safe to assume the colour is here to stay or can at least be polished back to its original lustre if it fades.
