Vintage 9ct gold bird signet ring

A good signet ring is a must have for many collectors. The more unusual the subject matter, usually the more popular. Animals have always been firm favourites.

This fantastic signet is made from solid 9ct yellow gold. It has a round face, with a deep engraved bird holding a branch in its beak. The detail in the engraving is just wonderful!

It's a chunky, solid, ring with a lovely thick band. Although worn, there are hallmarks for Chester 1949. As you may know, Chester Assay closed in the 1960s, making Chester pieces even more rare and collectable.

Years of wear have given this piece the patina so may of us love, yet it remains in fantastic vintage condition!
