Vintage 18ct gold & diamond heart ring

This is a fairy tale ring if we ever saw one!

Made from buttery yellow 18ct gold and 0.80ct worth of brilliant cut diamonds. At the centre of the ring is a bezel-set, heart-shaped diamond and flanking this are a further 12 round cuts, arranged in pairs, creating a romantic, scalloped look. The stones are set flush into the gold, with the heart diamond standing slightly proud in the centre.

The ring has maintained its shape beautifully and developed a gorgeous patina over the years. There's a slight imperfection to one of the round stones (visible under a loupe), otherwise it's in lovely vintage condition.
