Vintage 18ct gold & amethyst cocktail ring

I’m a real sucker for 1970s design and this ring just screams retro. Made in 18ct gold, the purple amethyst and buttery yellow gold complement each other perfectly.

What’s most unusual about this ring is the shank. The base is significantly thicker and wider than the shoulders and it boasts clean lines and an angular design, unlike the conventional round shank.

At over 13 grams, this ring is a bold statement piece. It has some wear commensurate with age but overall is in good vintage condition. (Skull ring and chains not for sale)
