Victorian sterling silver & 9ct gold horseshoe pendant

We love horseshoes and they feature heavily in Bait & Duck inventory. In particular we love how popular they were during the Victorian era when symbolisms was so prevalent and talismans were commonplace in jewellery.

This is a large sterling silver horseshoe, converted from a brooch, with an added 9ct gold bail. The addition of a gold bail means it works well on a gold or silver chain (see pics) and is a great way to mix up your stack.

With some minor signs of restoration/conversion on the back, it's in great antique condition (chains not included)
