Victorian 18ct gold & rose cut diamond snake pendant

This is one of those pieces that made me stop dead in my tracks. I absolutely LOVE it!

Converted from an old brooch, the little guy is made from a very rich, buttery 18ct gold and has two rose cut diamond eyes. He’s been very cleverly converted with the hinge from the pin kept in place and now used as the bail (slightly warmer in tone).

No hallmarks are present but he’s been XRF tested as 18ct gold. If like me you’re a fan of snake jewellery, you’ll know that these don’t come along very often in this size and condition (chain sold separately).
