Antique Sterling silver Albert/watch chain

A truly versatile Albert/watch chain, dating back to Chester 1911. As you may know, Chester Assay no longer exists, making Chester pieces even more collectable.

This gorgeous chain is made from solid, curb links, all the same width and stamped with the lion passant. Often very worn but these are still fairly crisp for their age. The two dog clips on the chain are matching, original and work well.

What's so great about this chain is the addition of a detachable T-bar extender that can give an extra 2" in length. This extender has been added so it's not original to the chain but it's still antique and dated Birmingham 1918.
