Antique gold, silver & rose cut diamond swallow charm

Swallows were hugely popular during the Victorian and Edwardian era and their symbolism included good luck & safe return, loyalty & love, hope & protection. They were often given as tokens of love and fidelity.

This piece has been lovingly converted from a brooch. It's made from rose cut diamonds with a ruby eye, set in silver, on a layer of 15ct gold (bail tests as 9ct).

A fantastic way to add some movement and sparkle to your collection and in lovely antique condition too.
