Antique 9ct gold & carnelian dolphin fob

This beautiful fob is made from a warm 9ct yellow gold & carnelian.

The design shows two stylised dolphins wrapped together in a decorative, heraldic style. In heraldry, dolphins very seldom actually looked like dolphins but did have lots of really positive traits. Kindness, strength, love of freedom, charity, joy & loyalty, to name a few.

Although made form yellow gold, there is a slight warmth in some lights, which makes this piece even more interesting. No hallmarks but it has been XRF tested.
