Antique 18ct gold, ruby & seed pearl locket

This is such a great example of a piece of old, functional jewellery that still works so well today!

Made from 18ct yellow gold with two small rubies and 9 seed pearls in a horseshoe design. The locket opens and closes securely and what’s so great about it, is that it has a hinged, inside glass panel. This means you can store little keepsakes in one side of the locket.

It’s a rich, buttery yellow in colour and has some very minor wear associated with age. The big bail is also a nice touch so it can be worn in a variety of clasps or chains (chain not included)
