Antique 9ct gold & turquoise horseshoe charm

A classic in Victorian sentimental jewellery; the horseshoe. In this case, it's paired with a belt & buckle and intended to be a good luck talisman. 

Made from 9ct gold (XRF tested), with engraved foliate/scroll decoration and 10 turquoise cabochons on the buckle. 

Most likely converted from a stick pin, it now has a generous sized bail making it ideal to wear on most chains.
