Antique 15ct gold & malachite snake fob

This is just about the cutest fob we have come across and a very rare find indeed. It's tiny but makes a bold statement and can be worn so many ways.

Made from 15ct gold & malachite with the most intricate, handmade details. Every millimetre of this fob is covered in design. 

The fob features a snake, coiled around in a figure of eight. On the front you can see his happy little face, turn him around, and there is his tail. A three dimensional marvel!

The Victorians were particularly fond of snake jewellery and we believe this would be an early Victorian piece. Given its age, there are some signs of wear but overall, its sturdy, well made and in lovey antique condition.
