Antique 15ct gold & gemstone tortoise charm

Did you know that the Victorians and Edwardians considered the tortoise a symbol of longevity, wisdom, steadfast endurance, protection and a stable home life?

This little guy is made from 15ct gold, rubies, emeralds and diamonds. The stones are set on his back as well as his eyes and he has a faint but visible 15ct tag underneath.

Some signs of antique wear, including a solder mark to his bail, otherwise we think he looks great.
