Antique 15ct gold, bloodstone & sardonyx spinning fob

We love old Albert/watch chains and so naturally we also love the wonderful fobs that used to be attached to them. Each one tells a story of the person who wore it and was often totally unique to them.

This one is certainly unique and incredibly striking. Made from a rich, buttery 15ct gold, bloodstone and sardonyx. It has stamps to confirm carat and that it was assayed in Birmingham but it has no date stamp. We know its older than 1932 when 15ct was discontinued and from the look of it, we would say it's Art Deco.
