18ct gold & lapis lazuli winged scarab necklace

Winged scarabs held significant meaning in ancient Egypt. They symbolised rebirth, transformation and the eternal cycle of life. 

This stunning necklace is made from buttery yellow 18ct gold and rich blue lapis lazuli. The colours complement each other perfectly. The chain is attached and is made up of trombone type/paperclip links with a simple yet elegant closure and safety ring. All the different parts are stamped with the Arabic symbol for 18 and it's also been XRF tested to confirm its purity.
